Processing Process
Miyake boasts a globally acclaimed
efficient and safe production line.
At the global level, we achieve mass production through world-class technology and a comprehensive manufacturing system.
Head Factory
Our Head Factory boasts a well-equipped facility capable of accommodating mass production. In the forging plant, processing is carried out using hot forging formers tailored to the product size. The products undergo a consistency manufacturing process through heat treatment, CR (Cold Rolling) plant, and turning plant before reaching the final product stage.
Production of Complex
and
High-Precision Products
Shiga Factory
At Shiga Factory, which houses both hot and cold forging facilities, we specialize in manufacturing intricate and high-precision products more than. Generally often prioritize either become the main axis hot or cold forging, our company optimizes the production system to accommodate the specific needs of our customers, such as significant cost and lead time reduction through composite processing, ensuring flexibility to meet detailed customer requirements.
①Mold Design and Fabrication
Designing and Fabricating Molds for Commissioned Products. Supplying Production Molds to Each Stage of the Process.
②Hot Forging
Using forging machines to shape components. Miyake's core process, utilizing heaters to heat rod-shaped materials and performing shaping operations within the machinery in a single step during hot forging.
③Heat Treatment and Shot Peening
To facilitate further processing in subsequent stages, heat treatment is performed in annealing furnaces, and shot pellets are shot to remove oxide coatings.
④Cold (High-Pressure) Rolling
A second key process for Miyake, contributing to cost reduction and energy savings by reducing scrap through the large-scale rolling of small products using rollers.
⑤Cold Forging (Shiga Factory Only)
Conducting plastic processing through vertical presses, this stage excels in the manufacturing of intricate shapes, meeting the increasing demand for precision manufacturing.
⑥Turning (Cutting and Grinding)
The final stage where the material is rotated and cut to finish the product. The surface is shaved and polished using cutting tools.
⑦Quality Control
Equipped with facilities to ensure that products are manufactured according to customer requirement. Rigorous inspections are conducted for almost all products in circulation.
